Come fish with Western Outdoors N.W. editor, John L. Beath on a trip of a lifetime in Southeast Alaska.
This once-in-a-lifetime 5-day adventure begins May 17th in Petersburg Alaska aboard the 56-foot sport fishing live-aboard vessel, the Adventurous. Captain Travis Petersen will welcome just five guests aboard for this special trip that ends in Wrangle Alaska on May 21st.
Anglers will be treated to a southeast Alaska combination trip for steelhead in remote small streams, king salmon and halibut from the deck of the Adventurous. If you have never caught a steelhead on a fly, this trip will give you the chance to experience this major sport fishing achievement. Catching steelhead on the fly in these remote streams is not a rare exception, but rather an expected delight.
Be sure to bring your camera for this trip, you’ll need it. You will see coastal Alaska brown bears, black bears, bald eagles, whales, deer and a number of other photogenic Alaska animals.
While aboard the Adventurous guests enjoy gourmet meals featuring fresh-caught shrimp and crab.
This special trip is offered to halibut.net newsletter readers for a special discounted rate. For prices of this special trip please contact Captain Travis Petersen at (206) 910-9603 or e-mail him at
